Inside the Excel Template

Automated Purse Calculators

Locked SUM and SUBTRACT formulas automatically deduct player purchase prices from the team's remaining budget. Prevents overdrawing wallets.

Squad Limit Counters

Real-time visual alerts highlight if a franchise exceeds the maximum squad limit (e.g. 15 players) or fails to meet the minimum player requirement.

Category Filters

Pre-configured filter drop-downs allow you to quickly sort players by their role (Batsman, Bowler, All Rounder, Wicket Keeper) or category pools.

How to Use the Template

  1. Step 1: Setup Franchise List: Open the sheet and navigate to the Settings tab. Enter participating team names and set the starting purse limit (e.g., ₹20,00,000 per team).
  2. Step 2: Add Player Registry: List all participating players in the Player Pool tab with their respective categories and base prices.
  3. Step 3: Run the Draft: As the auctioneer calls players on block, enter the winning bid under Sold Price and select the purchasing franchise from the Sold To dropdown menu.
  4. Step 4: Watch Wallet Sync: Roster sheets and wallet balances update instantly in the dashboard tab.
